Four Ingredient Paleo Turkey-Mushroom Meatballs!

I like simple recipes. I also like flavor, but simple doesn’t mean you need to compromise flavor! For instance, I made some of my 4 ingredient (plus some spices and salt/pepper) turkey and mushroom meatballs for lunch the other day! These balls are great, because they take no time at all and are super flavorful and moist. Served it with some seaweed shirataki noodles, sautéed eggplant, onion, peppers and acorn squash (in ghee). Then poured over some of my tahini-yogurt sauce (@soomfoods tahini, @foragerprojectcashew milk yogurt, coconut aminos, lemon juice and fresh herbs) and tossed with some carrot greens. These greens are so fresh and delish! I kind of like them better than parsley! Recipe for meatballs below!


  • 1 pound of ground turkey
  • 8 oz (1 package) of mushrooms (white or baby bella work best) minced
  • 1/2 small onion minced
  • 1 egg
  • Salt/pepper
  • 2 tsp coconut amigos (optional for a little extra flavor)
  • fresh herbs (optional for flavor–I used parsley)

Preheat oven to 375. Mix all ingredients together well in a bowl. Form 1 1/2 inch balls and place on a sheet of tinfoil. Bake for about 15-20 mins, until they are cooked through, which can be tested with a toothpick.
